Once Dusk falls, take the plunge and experience a night of scary ghost hunting inside the formidable and incredibly haunted, Bolton Castle.
Bolton Castle, an exclusive location to Dusk Till Dawn Events, was built in the 14th Century and is a Scheduled Ancient Monument. The building is Grade l listed and can be found in Wensleydale, Yorkshire.
This creepy old castle comes with a turbulent, historical past, including two unsuccessful exorcisms, which were carried out in Mary, Queen of Scots Bedchamber, when Mary was imprisoned here during the 15th century.
With over 600 years of history, there have been an array of guests to the castle during this time, however it is said that many of its “ghostly visitors” have remained, haunting these ominous castle walls forever.
This medieval castle, which was once also a defensive fortress during the Civil War period is vast in size, the castle comes complete with its own dark and macabre Dungeon Hole, along with a warren of various rooms, some of which include the Old Kitchens, the Great Chamber Solar, Medieval Nursery, Armoury and Mary Queen of Scots Bedroom, not to mention the many corridors and creepy stairwells, perfect for a night of ghost hunting upon nightfall.
Activity
In the lower area of the castle, the distant playing of a drummer, drumming has been reported, upon further investigation, no explanation or source could be found.
There are also said to have been sightings of the apparition of Mary, Queen of Scots herself in various areas of the castle and its grounds, she has been seen stood next to another female, both are dressed in long hooded capes, one in white, the other wearing a black cape.
Other activity reported has included the clear sound of heavy, walking, footsteps on the upper floors, upon discovery, no one was present, also terrifying ghoulish cries and moans have been heard in the darkness during ghost hunts and odd knocks that no one could explain, making even the most hardened ghost hunter reach for their torch!
With so many other strange and unexplainable occurrences witnessed here, will the ghosts and spirits of this scary, old, atmospheric castle come forward and interact with us once day becomes night, join us if you dare!

We are currently not able to provide refreshments or snacks for health and safety. Please bring flasks, cold drinks and snacks with you, strictly no alcohol thank you. Should you wish to sit down please being along your own fold up chairs for comfort.
Deposit Note:
If you choose the non-refundable deposit option, the final payment for this event will be required 4 weeks prior to the event date
If the final balance is not received by this date your place will automatically be cancelled and re listed for sale back onto the Dusk Till Dawn Events website

All payments including deposits and payments in full are non-refundable and non-transferable regardless of any circumstances.
When you make a booking with us it is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you are able to make the event date that you have booked, as Dusk Till Dawn Events cannot offer a refund or transfer your places onto another event date if you or any of your party are unable to attend.
The reason for this is that all places are paid for in advance to our locations, which means we are still liable for these costs even if you cannot attend the event.

Important: If anyone arrives under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or is suspected of bringing alcoholic drinks to the event, they will not be allowed to stay for the night and will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
