Living History is returning to Bolton Castle!!

Our resident living history historians are telling the story of Bolton Castle’s involvement in the civil wars that divided families and split the country between 1642 and 1660.  We’ve worked hard to ensure our family event adheres to Government guidelines yet retains all the fun and excitement you’d expect from Bolton Castle.  Join us safe in the knowledge that you’re in good hands, listen to our stories and then decide which side you would join: King or Parliament!?
