The popular and professional opera singer Jay Britton will join us during the day on 22nd August to show us just how a Tudor ‘lady’ would live and enjoy a location such as Bolton Castle. Accompanied by an extravagantly costumed Henry VIII, Jay will wander the gardens and rooms interacting with our visitors and passing on snippets of life in Tudor England. She will perform snippets of her acclaimed ‘Tudor Songbook’ at various times during the day against the backdrop of our glorious Bolton Castle. Jay’s music will evoke the legacy of the Tudor period and provide delightful music to lift the soul.
