YOUR GHOST HUNT
So you may have seen all the paranormal shows on TV and want to give it a go for real! Well now is your chance to become an investigator for the night.
During your Ghost Hunt you will gain knowledge all about ghost hunting and the techniques and equipment used to embolden paranormal activity. We have a wide range of specialised ghost hunting equipment for you to use throughout the night as you become the Investigator. We also work on building our senses through the night and you can participate in old school original methods of contacting spirits which include Seances, Ouija boards, table tipping and human pendulum, Scrying and glass divination which are the more traditional ghost hunting techniques. Aside from the activities and equipment we have on offer, you are also able to sit in the dark heightening your senses to communicate with spirit asking a range of questions to get them to interact with you.
For those who wish too, We provide the option of Lone vigils for those brave enough. Lone Vigils is where you will be placed in an area alone and investigate. During your Ghost Hunt, we start the night with a protection prayer and begin as a full group working on connecting with the spirits of the building and opening our senses. We will then split off into small groups which gives you a more intimate experience.
Our Ghost Hunting events are focused on keeping energy high and many of our guests who attend make some friends for life. Our Ghost Hunting events are sure to leave you craving and wanting more and more!

THE VENUE
Bolton Castle was built between 1378 to 1399 for Richard le Scrope. [Richard le Scrope was an English soldier and courtier who held a number of positions in the service of Richard II.]
Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned there between 1568 and 1569. After her defeat in Scotland in 1568 she fled to England, posing a threat to Queen Elizabeth I.
This historic castle comes with a very interesting past which is including two unsuccessful exorcisms. These were carried out in Mary Queen of Scots Bedchamber, when Mary was imprisoned here during the 15th century.
Heavy footsteps are often heard upstairs when no one was present, terrifying cries and moans have been heard along with knocks that are unexplainable. The sound of drumming has been heard often. The amount of history addressed to this location is no wonder it’s a plethora of paranormal activity.
