Bolton Castle Goes Greener!
Here at Bolton Castle we’re looking to grow our green credentials by becoming a member of Green Tourism and recognising and supporting eco-friendly achievements throughout our visitor offer. These will be primarily in our practices but will also need the support of our visitors. The initiatives include reducing energy use, saving water, efficient and eco-friendly waste disposal, ethical buying, staying local and seasonal, minimising food miles, promoting biodiversity and adopting a smart, sustainable outlook. Some of these we’re already doing, and some need improvement. Come on our journey with us to win a Green Tourism award and do your bit along the way.
