Your safety is our priority and we continue to adhere to any government guidelines which are in place. It is no longer a legal requirement to wear face coverings or to leave your details for track and trace. Hand sanitizer will remain in places throughout the castle.   

We request that you book tickets online ahead of your visit here Online Bolton Castle Tickets . Visitors who have already booked will be given priority on arrival.  This will enable us to monitor visitors’ arrival and limit cash transactions.   If you do not have a pre-booked ticket, please be patient if you are asked to wait for as minimum amount of time as possible. If you have any discount cards please show them on arrival at our admissions desk. You do not need to pre book a ticket if you have discount cards.

Please enjoy our gardens, with maze and views across the open countryside.  We continue with twice daily falconry demonstrations (weather permitting), daily archery demonstration and wild boar feeding and talks.
